Vous interviendrez principalement sur des missions liées aux normes IFRS 17 et Solvabilité II, ainsi qu’à la modélisation. 

Vos principales responsabilités seront : 

• Réaliser et suivre des études normatives sur IFRS 17 et Solvabilité II, ainsi que des études quantitatives d'impact.
• Contribuer à l'optimisation des processus métiers (actuariat, finance, comptabilité) et à la documentation des méthodes de transition.
• Encadrer des consultants juniors et seniors sur divers projets de modélisation et de provisionnement.
• Participer à des mandats de commissariat aux comptes et réaliser des revues de provisionnement.
• Contribuer au développement commercial du cabinet en identifiant les besoins des clients, en rédigeant des propositions commerciales et en participant à des appels d’offres.
• Participer à des réunions clients et coordonner jusqu'à 3 missions en simultané, impliquant plusieurs consultants.
• Accompagner les consultants juniors et seniors dans leur développement professionnel au sein du cabinet.

Profil

• Diplôme Bac+5 en actuariat, finance ou statistiques.
• Minimum 6 ans d’expérience pour le grade Manager, 9 ans pour le grade Senior Manager, idéalement en conseil dans les secteurs de l’assurance vie, épargne ou prévoyance.
• Expertise avérée dans les normes IFRS 17 et Solvabilité II, ainsi que dans la modélisation actuarielle.
• Expérience en encadrement d’équipe et gestion de projets multiples.
• Esprit entrepreneurial, capacité à proposer des solutions innovantes et à développer des opportunités commerciales.

Our client, an insurance company is looking for a Balance Sheet Manager to support the capital management department.

He/she will be in charge of the following tasks :

• As senior analyst, you are not only working on your own success, but also that of your colleagues. For example, you share your expertise with others and encourage the growth and development of the people you work with.
• You optimise the risk profile, on both side of the balance sheet. By reviewing the effect of various strategic tactical asset allocations from a risk/return perspective, as well as optimising the value creation of the life insurance obligations of the company and plans to sell.
• You will work closely with senior management and report to them about financial movements, strategic developments and growth opportunities.
• You keep a close eye on changes to regulations and standards in the sector (particularly Solvency II, IFRS, Belgian GAAP, etc.). Your advice and the impact they may have on our business will be leveraged to steer further refinements in the team and the company’s strategy.

Our client, an insurance company is looking for an IFRS17 Life Actuary to strengthen the Finance Department. He·she will be in charge of calculating the IFRS17 figures, the new accounting standard for insurance contracts.

The IFRS17 Life Actuary will be responsible for:

• Acquiring a good understanding of the IFRS17 accounting standards to analyze and comprehend the Balance Sheet and Income Statement of a life insurance company.
• Producing IFRS17 accounts as part of the closing exercises and forecast exercises (strategic plan) of the group.
• Analyzing, commenting on, and tracking the evolution of the IFRS17 results presented to management.
• Validating the results of projection tools in close collaboration with the teams responsible for the model to ensure mastery of the IFRS17 indicators.
• Participating in the improvement and documentation of reporting tools.

Profile

• Master's degree in engineering sciences, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business engineering, economics, etc.
• You are an Actuary – or equivalent through experience.
• You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in life insurance or financial reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS17 Life and BEGAAP is a strong asset.
• Experience in R/VBA or an actuarial projection tool (Prophet, Moses, etc.) is a plus.

He/she will be in charge of the following tasks :

• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts and analyse the various outlooks. Understand, monitor and analyse all costs within the company, through dialog with the budget owners.
• Analyse, reports that the accounting system generates and other data to identify trends, issues, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide technical support in negotiating the defined, quotes, guidelines, terms and conditions with national brokers & accounts. A close interaction with the Sales Department is needed to develop the business in a profitable way.
• Regularly monitor business performance at various levels (product, broker, contract). Identify areas of improvements and concerns in business operational areas and provide appropriate strategies to resolve them.
• Support managers and staff on financial issues, such as budgeting, cost control and financial planning.
• Depth analytical skills and tool expertise (data statistics & data reconciliation & background information) and strong time management.

Le/la future Risk Modelleur Non-Vie sera responsable des tâches suivantes :

• Modélisation : développement et optimisation des travaux quantitatifs actuariels des trois piliers Solvency 2 (modèle interne partiel, modèle standard, calcul du SCR …).

Our client, an insurance company, is looking for a Non-Life Actuarial Function Officer to join the Actuarial Function Department.

The Non-Life Actuarial Function Officer will be responsible for:

• Write opinion and actuarial reports for regulatory purposes or for the Executive and/or Administrative Committees on the following topics:
  • Technical provisions (BeGAAP, Solvency II and IFRS).
  • Profitability and underwriting policy.
  • Reinsurance planning.
  • New products.
  • Assessment and review of the accuracy of the assumptions and models.
• Lead actuarial analyses and studies and make recommendations based on those, present the conclusions to the concerned departments, follow up on those recommendations.
• Take part in the risk mapping and control of the company, make recommendation on risk management.
• Liaising with the concerned departments within the company, monitor and analyse the new risks (cyber, climate change, new mobility pandemic…) and new techniques (AI, ML…) and their impact on the insurance portfolio.
• Monitor any activity linked to IFRS17 in order to be able to assess the technical provisions in the IFRS17 balance sheet.

Profile

The Business Data Scientist will be responsible for  :

• Data mart
  • Finalising the implementation of the Datamart (integrate new data while controlling their quality, implement the Slowly Changing Dimension, etc.).
  • Mastering the structure and data, their business interpretation, and the underlying reporting.
  • The daily data management (error logs, automatic reports, sending data to the Group, etc.).
  • Participating actively in the implementation of IFRS 17 with the Group (creation of a harmonised DWH, data required for the models, etc.).

• Analyses
