Job Description

Our client, an insurance company, is looking for a Pension Actuary to strengthen the Actuarial Direction. The direction is in charge of financial monitoring of supplementary pension schemes for the benefit of the insurer and the group's employer entities.

The Pension Actuary will be responsible for:

• Providing actuarial expertise and services, and being a full partner in the smooth running of the group's schemes, in the four areas: HR, finance, insurance and accounting,
• Interacting with the HR contacts in charge of the various schemes (knowledge of mutual needs, sharing of relevant information, exchange of expertise, etc.),
• Providing expertise in the accounting of social liabilities under NF and NI accounting standards at the various levels of accounting consolidation of the group,
• Carrying out annual actuarial valuations, producing financial information on social liabilities on behalf of employers, participating in the preparation of management committees by integrating the prospective dimension of demographic and financial balances,
• Contributing to discussions on the future development of the schemes.

Profile

• Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Engineering, etc.,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position,
• Knowledge of supplementary defined benefit pension schemes, pre and post-PACTE law,
• Knowledge of the accounting standards applicable to social liabilities, both NF and NI, and the associated insurance products, their social and fiscal treatments,
• Knowledge of life insurance technical and regulatory environments,
• Reliability in performing commitment calculations,
• Very good knowledge of Excel/VBA and PowerPoint,
• Relational skills and comfortable in complex situations,
• Customer-oriented, discreet and reliable,
• Rigor, reactivity, and very good analytical skills,
• Capacity to share knowledge and curiosity,
• Team player and good listener,
• Fluency in French.
