Our client, an insurance company based in Luxembourg, is looking for a Cross-border
Risk & Actuarial Lead
to support a dynamic and ambitious start-up in the field of
(re)insurance
.


He/she will be in charge of the
following tasks :


You will be responsible for calculating the SCR, technical reserves, and
technical results across various regulatory frameworks (QRT, ORSA, SFCR, RSR,

etc.), and for drafting and maintaining all associated regulatory reports.

You will conduct pricing studies to facilitate the onboarding of new participants
into PCC structures, in accordance with SUSEP regulations.

You will apply your expertise in a range of risk models, including those from
SUSEP, Moody’s, S&P, and AM Best, to support actuarial and financial analysis.

You will oversee risk management activities across actuarial, underwriting,
finance, accounting, and operational areas, while ensuring the robustness of

internal controls and providing technical oversight.

You will serve as the appointed Actuarial Function and Risk Management
Function for entities in Luxembourg and Malta, ensuring full compliance with

Solvency II and local regulatory requirements.

You will assume the role of approved director as recognised by the
Commissariat aux Assurances in Luxembourg.

You will actively participate in internal committees and board meetings,
contribute to strategic decision
-making, and handle submissions to relevant
supervisory authorities. You will also be eligible for a commission in the event of

successful client intro
ductions.

PROFILE
You have a proven experience in actuarial science and/or risk management in a Solvency II environment.
You have strong skills in actuarial methods and technical analysis.
You are analytical, solution-oriented, and thrive in entrepreneurial environments.
You are self-driven, structured, and an excellent communicator, and you are eligible to act as an approved
director under Luxembourg law (Commissariat aux Assurances).
