FUNCTION
Our client, an insurance company, is looking for a Risk Specialist Actuary to support the Risk & Actuarial Team.
He/she will be in charge of the following tasks :
- Develop and enhance capital, reserving and disability-risk models.
- Support technical pricing initiatives and capital calculations for strategic projects, including reviews of pricing assumptions, methodologies, and profitability metrics.
- Collaborate with actuarial and risk teams to validate data quality, model assumptions, and model outputs.
- Design and oversee automated data-ingestion pipelines from the DwH via Databricks or comparable platforms, employing Python/R to support advanced analytical and modelling activities.
- Document end-to-end modelling and data processes, proposing improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Support Solvency II projects including Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) / Return On Risk Capital (RORC) calculations, ORSA, ESG/Climate-risk assessment, sustainability initiatives, and emerging-risk analysis.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication with Senior Management on Risk Management and Actuarial Function matters.
PROFILE
- Master’s degree in actuarial science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science.
- 5 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably Insurance. Ideally 3 years in a technical department (Risk Management, Actuarial Function or IT).
- Strong Python and SQL skills; Databricks or Dataiku is a plus.
- Fluent in English, any other language would be considered an asset.
Our client, an insurance company, is looking for an Actuarial Function Holder to provide an integrated quantitative view of the company's risk profile, support strategic decision-making, and strengthen the alignment between risk management, solvency, financial performance, and business strategy.
He/she will be in charge of the following tasks :
- Assess and monitor company’s risk profile against its risk appetite framework.
- Analyze and interpret actuarial models, assumptions, sensitivities, and stress scenarios to understand their long-term impacts.
- Produce and present Solvency II reporting to the various governance bodies within the company.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of a robust and effective risk management framework.
- Participate in the assessment and monitoring of business strategy, particularly through the analysis of action plans designed to mitigate key risks.
- Provide independent opinions and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Actively contribute to the ORSA (Own Risk and Solvency Assessment) process.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and provide insights, advice, and recommendations to management and governance bodies.
PROFILE
- You have at least 8 years of proven experience in risk management or a related field (actuarial, finance, ALM, or similar).
- You are comfortable interacting with a wide range of stakeholders and demonstrate assertiveness, diplomacy, and strong communication skills.
- You have the ability to act as a credible, constructive, and appropriately challenging business partner.
- You have hands-on experience coordinating cross-functional activities involving multiple departments.
- You enjoy working collaboratively while maintaining autonomy in managing your responsibilities.
- You are capable of handling complex topics and driving them through to completion.
- Your native language is either French or Dutch, and you have a good command of the other national language as well as English.
Au sein d’une compagnie à taille humaine et sous la responsabilité du responsable du département Actuariat & Inventaire, vous contribuerez à l’ensemble des sujets actuariels.
Les principales missions s’articuleront autour de 6 axes :
- Modélisation :
- Développement et optimisation des travaux quantitatifs actuariels des 3 piliers Solvency 2 (modèle standard, modèle interne partiel, calcul du SCR, calcul des provisions techniques …).
- Participation aux différents reportings prudentiels (rapports actuariels, ORSA, RSR) à l’intention des différentes instances (internes / Commissariat aux Assurances).
- Tarification : participation aux études techniques pour la création ou le renouvellement de nouveaux traités.
- Réalisation d’études statistiques : modèles de scoring, de durée…
- Outils de pilotage et de suivi des risques (appétence aux risques).
- Interventions sur des sujets transverses du Groupe (stress tests EBA…).
- Soutien technique auprès des autres fonctions de la compagnie (souscription, comptabilité…).
Profile
- Minimum 2 ans d’expérience en tant qu’actuaire en assurance non-vie.
- Une expérience en réassurance non-vie constitue un réel avantage.
- Connaissance Solvabilité 2, et de l’environnement réglementaire.
- Maîtrise des outils bureautiques et maitrise de SAS.
- Esprit d’équipe et dynamique.
- Français courant et bon niveau d’anglais.

- You are capable of taking ownership of complex topics and seeing them through to completion;
- Your mother tongue is French or Dutch, and you have a good command of the other national language as well as English.
Our client, an international insurer, is looking for a Product Actuary Life (br21/23). Acting as a central pivot, you collaborate with Sales, Actuarial, and Marketing teams to turn the company's growth ambitions into reality.
- Product Development: Coordinate the end-to-end Product Development Process for new and existing Life Retail products.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor the performance of the Branch 21 and Branch 23 portfolios using smart KPI dashboards and implement strategic adjustments where necessary.

- You are analytically strong, commercially minded, and capable of communicating complex matter with clarity
- You are fluent in English and Dutch; proficiency in French is considered a strong asset.
