Job Description
Our client an insurance company, is looking for a Senior Life & Health Actuary to strengthen the Financial Actuarial Department. He·she will be in charge of IFRS 17 and Solvency 2 calculations and analyses for individual life insurance products and loan insurance products.
The Senior Life & Health Actuary will be responsible for:
- Implementing IFRS 17:
- Producing internal interpretations;
- Defining process;
- Developing and monitoring internal tools;
- Collecting data, carrying out calculations, inherent controls and analyzing results;
- Solvency 2 tasks:
- Carrying out and analyzing Best Estimate and SCR calculations;
- Performing sensitivity tests;
- Presenting and explaining the calculation methods to results on the different standards to different stakeholders.
Profile
- Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance or Mathematics;
- At least 5 years’ experience in the actuarial field, related to Solvency 2 or IFRS 17 or loan insurance products or individual life insurance products, except health;
- Mastery of Excel/VBA. Knowledge of Python is an asset;
- Ability to adapt and collaborate;
- Analytic mind and rigor;
- Proactivity;
- Ability to popularize complex subjects;
- Command of French and enough knowledge of English to understand regulatory texts.
