Notre client, une compagnie d’assurance, est à la recherche d’un(e) Risk Expert. La personne sera chargée de définir les politiques de risque, analyser des problématiques spécifiques et d’apporter son expertise dans le cadre de projets actuariels et financiers, d’études ALM ou encore du closing Solvency II.  Le/la future Risk Expert sera responsable des tâches suivantes :

• Analyser et quantifier les différents risques : financiers, techniques, stratégiques… liés aux activités d’assurance du groupe.
• Participer au reporting centralisé et à l’analyse des aspects techniques des produits d’assurance (Vie, Santé, Branche 21, Branche 23), y compris au reporting des Key Risk Indicators.
• Réaliser des projections chiffrées dans le cadre de l’Asset & Liability Management (ALM) et du Business Plan, en lien avec la stratégie globale.
• Contribuer à la mise en œuvre et à la révision du système global de gestion des risques, ainsi qu’à l’évaluation interne de la solvabilité (ORSA).
• Préparer des rapports de risques et proposer des améliorations visant à automatiser et optimiser les processus.
• Assurer une veille réglementaire, notamment sur les évolutions de Solvency II, DORA et autres cadres pertinents.

Profile

• Vous êtes titulaire d’un Master en économie, en sciences actuarielles et/ou en finance.
• Vous disposez d’une expérience préalable dans le domaine de la finance, de l’actuariat ou de la gestion des risques.
• Vous souhaitez acquérir une vision globale de la politique de gestion des risques, tant sur le plan quantitatif que qualitatif.
• Vous maîtrisez bien Excel et VBA; la connaissance de SAS ou d’outils similaires constitue un atout.

Our client, an insurance company, is looking for an Actuary who will be responsible for determining the required premium for existing and new products, monitoring profitability, and calculating GAAP and IFRS reserves.

To do this, the Actuary will use statistical methods to analyze claims and portfolio developments and actuarial software to estimate future developments. The recruit will work as part of a dynamic and motivated actuarial team, but he/she will also work closely with other colleagues within the company.

More specifically, the Actuary will contribute to the following tasks :

• Determining the premium for new individual and group products.
• Making recommendations to adjust premiums for existing products.
• Monitoring the profitability of products and the portfolio.

Our client, an insurance company is looking for a Life EB Reporting Actuary to strengthen the EB Department. He·she will be in charge of reporting on the analysis of key drivers of value creation (BGAAP and IFRS) and implementing controls and processes in response to the changing environment. 

The Life EB Reporting Actuary will be responsible for:

• Contributing to regular BGAAP and IFRS reporting, as well as to the analysis of key drivers in “profit by sources” and accounting affiliation.
• Integrating product developments and reporting requirements into existing reports, as well as optimising existing processes.  This also includes documenting them, identifying risks and developing controls.
• Contributing to the running of the project as regards the Risk Management area of responsibility (drafting requirements, tests, support tools, etc.).

Profile

• Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or any other quantitative field.
• Experience of life insurance/reinsurance and its accounting implications, and familiar with actuarial calculations and models. Experience with IFRS17 and Solvency 2 is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Excel and SAS.
• Good analytical mind and able to think independently.
• Ability to stand back and analyse the big picture and think strategically, while at the same time being hands-on enough to implement strategies effectively.
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to dive into technical systems, their operational functioning and accounting links.
