Our client, an insurance company is looking for a Performance Manager to support the Business and Financial department.

He/she will be in charge of the following tasks :

• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts and analyse the various outlooks. Understand, monitor and analyse all costs within the company, through dialog with the budget owners.
• Analyse, reports that the accounting system generates and other data to identify trends, issues, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide technical support in negotiating the defined, quotes, guidelines, terms and conditions with national brokers & accounts. A close interaction with the Sales Department is needed to develop the business in a profitable way.
• Regularly monitor business performance at various levels (product, broker, contract). Identify areas of improvements and concerns in business operational areas and provide appropriate strategies to resolve them.
• Support managers and staff on financial issues, such as budgeting, cost control and financial planning.
• Depth analytical skills and tool expertise (data statistics & data reconciliation & background information) and strong time management.
• Supervise the underwriting officer in protecting the company’s book of business from bad risks. Proactive communication with Underwriters, IT, Marketing and Financial Manager.

Profile

• Proven financial planning controlling and technical performance experience in an insurance environment.
• Proven numeracy and statistical skills. Hands-on experience with “smart systems”, analytical tools and statistical packages.
• Relevant actuarial experience is a plus. Insurance diploma or certification, Business administration, finance or related field. Knowledges of insurance policies and ability to relate policy provisions to the loss exposures.
• Confident decision-making skills and attention to detail.

Notre client, une compagnie d’assurance, est à la recherche d’un(e) Risk Modelleur Non-Vie afin de renforcer la Direction Actuariat.

Le/la future Risk Modelleur Non-Vie sera responsable des tâches suivantes :

• Modélisation : développement et optimisation des travaux quantitatifs actuariels des trois piliers Solvency 2 (modèle interne partiel, modèle standard, calcul du SCR …).
• Participation aux différents reportings prudentiels (rapports actuariels, ORSA, RSR) à l'intention des différentes instances.
• Participation aux études techniques de tarification pour le lancement de nouveaux produits, produit d'assurance et de réassurance.
• Réalisation d'études statistiques.
• Outils de pilotage et de suivi des risques.
• Interventions sur des sujets transverses (stress tests EBA…).
• Soutien technique auprès des autres fonctions de la compagnie (souscription, comptabilité…).

Profil

• Master en Actuariat.
• Minimum 2 ans d’expérience, de préférence en modélisation risque Non-Vie.
• Bonne connaissance de l’environnement règlementaire et de Solvabilité II.
• Maîtrise de la Suite Office et de SAS.
• Esprit d’équipe.
• Rigueur, curiosité et autonomie.
• Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais.

Our client, an insurance company is looking for a Life EB Reporting Actuary to strengthen the EB Department. He·she will be in charge of reporting on the analysis of key drivers of value creation (BGAAP and IFRS) and implementing controls and processes in response to the changing environment. 

The Life EB Reporting Actuary will be responsible for:

• Contributing to regular BGAAP and IFRS reporting, as well as to the analysis of key drivers in “profit by sources” and accounting affiliation.
• Integrating product developments and reporting requirements into existing reports, as well as optimising existing processes.  This also includes documenting them, identifying risks and developing controls.
• Contributing to the running of the project as regards the Risk Management area of responsibility (drafting requirements, tests, support tools, etc.).

Profile

• Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or any other quantitative field.
• Experience of life insurance/reinsurance and its accounting implications, and familiar with actuarial calculations and models. Experience with IFRS17 and Solvency 2 is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Excel and SAS.
• Good analytical mind and able to think independently.
• Ability to stand back and analyse the big picture and think strategically, while at the same time being hands-on enough to implement strategies effectively.
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to dive into technical systems, their operational functioning and accounting links.
• Team player, flexible and willing to work in different locations.
• Fluency in Dutch, French and English.
