• You are responsible for the execution of pricing activities across various product lines and services in the non-life sector, for both national and international clients.
• You provide key input to the profitability team, supporting the development of technical assumptions for forecasting and budgeting purposes, including reserving.
• You contribute to the design and definition of suitable products, benefits, and coverage levels, working closely with product management and sales teams to support both existing partners and new business opportunities.
• You play an active role in shaping our pricing strategy, refining processes and enhancing tools, in alignment with group-wide guidelines and standards.
• You are involved in risk acceptance decisions and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained throughout the process.

You actively support the sales team by contributing to the preparation of tailored offers and participating in client meetings and presentations.

Profile

• You hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance or a closely related field.
• You have between 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role, with a mandatory background in the insurance sector.
• You possess a solid understanding of industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
• You demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, with proven experience in trend and scenario analysis. You have knowledge of actuarial concepts such as reserving, reinsurance or claims excellence is considered an asset.
• You are analytical and solution-oriented, with a keen eye for detail, quality, and structured work.
• You are well-organized, autonomous, and proactive, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. You are customer-focused and possess excellent communication skills.
• You thrive in an international environment and enjoy collaborating across departments, with a strong sense of team spirit. Willingness to travel is a plus.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, and familiar with modern analytical methods and tools for handling complex datasets.
• You have an excellent command of Dutch and French, and a good command of English, both written and spoken.

Our client, an international insurance company, is looking for a Senior Data Science Actuary to support the Finance and Data solution’s team.  

He/she will be in charge of the following tasks : 

• Serve as the technical lead for the Finance Data Hub, providing guidance and direction on data architecture and engineering best practices.
• Design, develop, and optimize our data architecture to support various accounting initiatives, such as financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, BI analysts, IT experts, and data scientists, to deliver integrated data solutions that meet business needs.
• Utilize data automation tools like Wherescape or DBT to streamline data integration processes and improve data quality and consistency.
• Leverage cloud technologies, particularly ADP and Snowflake, to enhance the scalability and performance of our data infrastructure.
• Implement data vault modelling techniques to ensure data accuracy, historical tracking, and auditability.

Profil

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on data architecture and optimization.
• Proficiency in data vault modelling and data automation tools such as WhereScape or DBT.
• Strong cloud knowledge, with experience in Azure and Snowflake (preferred).
• Solid understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and data quality management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• You are allowed to work in the Netherlands or Belgium, by being a European Citizen or by having a work permit.

Our client, an insurance company is looking for a Non-Life Pricing Actuary to reinforce its Reinsurance and Non-Life Pricing department.

The Non-Life Pricing Actuary will be responsible for:

• Participating in new products development and existing pricing and products revision in collaboration with the product management department, in order to achieve the objectives of profitability and growth.
• Developing pricing and product profitability studies tools.
• Providing support for non-life studies.
• Monitoring technical regulatory developments.

Profile

• Master’s degree in in Actuarial Science.
• First experience in Non-Life business is an asset.
