Our client, an insurance broker, is looking for a Senior P&C Pricing Actuary to support the Product & Pricing department.

They will be in charge of the following tasks:

• Building (data preparation, modelling and validation) of the technical tariff for all products.
• Building (data preparation, modelling and validation) of demand models (conversion, drop-off, etc.) for all products.
• Building (data preparation, modelling, technical & business validation) of the commercial tariff (in connection with marketing targets and partnerships).
• Leading POCs and MVPs that lead to decision-making regarding the sophistication of our products (at the level of technology, metrics, collaboration with other group entities, etc.) 

Profile

• Master’s/PhD in mathematics, statistics, engineering or actuarial science.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in risk modelling (technical and commercial) for non-life insurance products (within a pricing team).
• Minimum 5 years of experience using demand models.
• Strong mastery of Python (and preferably SQL) for development, database management, and engineering tasks (MLOps).
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Word and Excel). Knowledge of Akur8 is a plus.
• Sensitivity to governance and understanding of the market/competition is required.
• Customer orientation, entrepreneurial mindset, team spirit, creativity and innovation.
• Good command of Dutch or French (with the willingness to learn the second language if necessary) and a good command of English
