Summary
Our client, an insurance company is looking for an International Life Actuary to strengthen the Actuarial Direction.
The International Life Actuary will be responsible for:
- Supporting and supervising actuarial activities and technical risks related to international entities, particularly in Life and Health (IFRS 17, Solvency 2, budgetary processes, etc.)
- Sharing his·her knowledge and expertise, as well as the group’s best practices
- Organizing, managing and participating in cross-functional projects in collaboration with entities (regulatory project, IFRS 17, etc.)
- Participating in quarterly IFRS 4/17 inventories and in annual and ad hoc budgetary work
- Ensuring the monitoring of technical risk and multi-standard profitability
Profile
- A master’s degree in Actuarial Science or Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience as an actuary in a Life and Health Insurance function, ideally in an international development context
- A solid actuarial knowledge in Life (guaranteed rates, units of account) and willing to develop IFRS 17 or Non-Life expertise
- Good interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Rigor, analytical skills, ability to think on your feet and to make proposals
- Fluent written and spoken English required
