Job Description

Our client, an insurance company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to strengthen the Data Scientist team. He/she will will be involved in various areas of the company, collaborate with other analytical teams, and participate in advanced and strategic data projects.

• The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for:
• Designing and developing innovative data products to fulfill the company's requirements.
• Performing comprehensive data analyses and creating models to resolve business issues.
• Effectively communicating with stakeholders to comprehend and address their data requirements.
• Operating in an agile manner to ensure adaptability and ongoing process enhancement.

Profile

• 5+ years of practical experience in data science, machine learning, and statistics in a high-velocity environment.
• Practical experience in MLOps, including deploying ML pipelines, maintaining and monitoring ML models in production.
• Experience with large datasets and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of deep learning for NLP/CV with Pytorch/Tensorflow.
• Publications in recognized journals and conferences in ML/statistics.
• Excellent Python and SQL coding skills for production.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques, as well as strong NLP skills.
• Experience with software engineering principles such as containerization, APIs, version control, and CI/CD.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in an accessible manner.
• Proficiency in English, French or Dutch is an asset.
• Full-time position in an international environment, based in Brussels or Rotterdam, with the possibility of regular remote work.
