Job Description
Our client, an insurance company is looking for a Pricing Analyst to support the Actuarial department.
He/she will be in charge of the following tasks :
- Contribute to build / modify the product offer (contracting, pricing, new guarantees, regulatory changes).
- Analyse the profitability of the products in the Solvency II and IFRS17 contexts.
- Test the sensitivity of the results to the various assumptions and conduct stress tests.
- Comply with the underwriting rules when preparing pricing and underwriting schedules.
- Document new pricing and underwriting schedules.
- Liaise with the Business Development to understand the needs of the customers and our partners.
- Carry out technical studies to update risk assumptions by product, by partner and by cover.
- Present own work in different committees (Business Committee, Technical Committee, Development Committee,…).
- Provide support to all our technical or non-technical stakeholders based in Dublin and in France.
Analysis & Projects :
- Perform client portfolio analysis and preparation of client reports and presentations.
- Perform experience analysis and assist with updating of pricing assumptions/assessing pricing adequacy.
- To participate in ad-hoc technical reports/projects and business plans with the business department and Actuarial teams.
Profile
- Experienced actuary (2 years minimum), ideally with Pricing background.
- Experience in Life, Health or Protection products is an asset.
- High level of numeracy and computer literacy; Visual Basic, Excel, SAS.
- Strong communication skills in English and French.
