Job Description
Our client, an insurance company, is looking for a Non-Life Product Actuary to support the Product & Pricing department.
He/she will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Analyzing product performance across all lines (technical results, commercial performance, conversion rates, churn, cross-selling, etc.).
- Preparing and maintaining dashboards and reports (using tools like Power BI, Excel, SQL, etc.) to monitor KPIs and identify trends or alerts.
- Conducting in-depth analyses (root cause analysis, segmentation, cohort analysis, etc.) to explain performance variations and propose action plans.
- Collaborating with Pricing, Marketing, Operations, IT, and Finance teams to define product improvements and measure their impact.
- Participating in the launch and follow-up of new products or features (definition of success metrics, A/B testing, post-launch review).
- Supporting the product roadmap by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Profile
- Degree in economics, commercial engineering, mathematics, actuarial science, etc.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product analysis, performance analysis or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and Python or R for advanced analysis (a plus).
- Excellent command of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and Microsoft Office (especially advanced Excel).
- Experience with statistical methods, segmentation, and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of insurance products (non-life) and/or pricing is a strong advantage.
- Customer-oriented, proactive, team player, with creativity and a sense of innovation.
- Good command of French or Dutch (with the desire to learn the second language if needed) and solid English
