Job Description

Our client, an insurance company is looking for a Non-Life Actuary Product & Pricing to strengthen the Finance Department. He·she will be in charge of the creation and pricing of products, and the analysis of portfolio profitability.

The Non-Life Actuary Product & Pricing will be responsible for:

• Non-life product pricing.
• Producing analyses related to the design of new non-life products.
• Applying various exploration models.
• Monitoring portfolio profitability.
• Communicating profitability results and strategic proposals.
• Working closely with the Head of Pricing & Analytics department as well as various departments within the company.

Profile

• University degree in quantitative sciences/PhD.
• 5 years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in non-life product pricing and P&C.
• Experience in the insurance field in Luxembourg is a plus.
• Good knowledge of tools for data analysis and modelling.
• Knowledge of Excel is mandatory. Proficiency in R and SAS is an asset.
• Excellent synthesis skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Critical thinking, proactivity, and persuasive argumentation skills.
• Rigorous, structured, and analytical work methodology.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining good teamwork skills.
• Fluent in French and English. German is an advantage.
