Job Description

Our client, an insurance company, is looking for a Risk Model Expert to strengthen its Risk Management function. In this role, you will play a key part in the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of risk and liability projection models, while contributing to strategic analyses, regulatory calculations and risk assessment across Non-Life and Health activities. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment and provide technical expertise that directly supports management decisions and the overall financial resilience of the company.

He/she will be in charge of the following tasks :

• Manage and improve Non-Life and Health liability projection models.
•  
  Develop modelling tools, methodologies and stochastic approaches.
• Perform targeted analyses linked to business and market developments.
•  
  Perform and validate Solvency II and IFRS calculations and support closings.
•  
  Contribute to stress tests, expert judgements and assumption reviews.
•  
  Participate in modelling forums and critically challenge methodologies.
•  
  Contribute to ORSA, risk analyses and risk appetite monitoring.
•  
  Collaborate with audit, follow recommendations and support risk projects.

PROFILE

• Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in Risk Management, modelling or equivalent.
• Strong quantitative, stochastic modelling and insurance risk expertise.
• Strong knowledge of insurance regulation, including Solvency II.
• Experience with complex data and analytical/modelling tools.
• Flexible across changing priorities, projects and technical domains.
• Team-oriented, accountable, credible and able to challenge constructively.
• Fluent FR or NL, with good command of the other national language and English.
