Our client, an international insurance company, is looking for a Senior Data Science Actuary to support the Finance and Data solution’s team.

He/she will be in charge of the following tasks :

Serve as the technical lead for the Finance Data Hub, providing guidance and direction on data architecture and engineering best practices.
Design, develop, and optimize our data architecture to support various accounting initiatives, such as financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, BI analysts, IT experts, and data scientists, to deliver integrated data solutions that meet business needs.
Utilize data automation tools like Wherescape or DBT to streamline data integration processes and improve data quality and consistency.
Leverage cloud technologies, particularly ADP and Snowflake, to enhance the scalability and performance of our data infrastructure.
Implement data vault modelling techniques to ensure data accuracy, historical tracking, and auditability.

Profil

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on data architecture and optimization.
Proficiency in data vault modelling and data automation tools such as WhereScape or DBT.
Strong cloud knowledge, with experience in Azure and Snowflake (preferred).
Solid understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and data quality management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
You are allowed to work in the Netherlands or Belgium, by being a European Citizen or by having a work permit.
